Middle School Golf Program
The Jones Creek Middle School Golf Program is designed to keep organized middle school golf alive and well in Columbia County by providing a place for middle school golfers to prepare for the transition into high school golf. With teams from local middle schools, we offer a structured school team environment for young golfers to compete, develop, and have fun! Hopefully each school will have at least one team (or more if enough golfers participate), and we would like to field a homeschool team as well. We will also provide an environment where kids who are new to the game or may not be ready to compete can have a place to grow and move in that direction. This is a great way to get—and keep—kids involved in the game of golf.
The format will include weekly matches and optional Saturday clinics taught by Director of Instruction Nam Padung and PGA Professional Doug Cameron. At this time, all matches and clinics will be held at Jones Creek Golf Club. Participation is $50 per season.
Target Starting Date: First week of October
Participants in our middle school golf program will receive:
- Club evaluation and recommendations
